What You Should Know
We understand that with the short summer season you want to proceed with your landscape
projects as soon as possible and we want to complete our work as soon as possible for
you to be able to enjoy your yard. This site was developed to give our homeowners a
better understanding of our seasonal construction process and insight into the scheduling
of the work on individual homes. If you have any comments or suggestions about this site
please email inquiry.calgary@brookfieldhomes.com
Below is a list of the questions most frequently asked by our customers. The answers
to these questions can be found in the pages listed at the top of the site. Please
be sure to review all of the pages on this site.
When can I begin construction of my deck, fence
or garage?
Which preparations do I need to make for my lot to be ready?
How do I care for my lawn?
What is the sequence of seasonal construction events?
How will my lot settle?
Seasonal Goals
Each spring we work with our seasonal trades to set out the seasonal work plan. In doing this we try to
get as much of this work done as quickly as possible. As a general guideline we have outlined our seasonal
goal dates below which are based on possessions. For efficiency, Brookfield Homes will complete entire blocks
of homes rather than in individual homes. To see a more specific outline of your home see the “View Your
Schedule” page on this site.

What Impacts Our Seasonal Timelines
In the event there is a weather delay it typically takes 3-4 days of warm dry weather before the ground
is dry enough for machinery to proceed. Depending on the nature of the weather it may delay the process
up to 2 weeks. In the event of a weather delay please continue to view your schedule for updates.
